One thing we forgot to show you was a fire that occurred just south of our apartment complex. It was a Marriott being built about 1/4 mile down the road.
Cindy heard the firetrucks and looked out the window to this huge blaze taking place. We quickly ran out to our grilling area to watch the blaze. The flames were a good 5 stories up in the air. The sky was filled with burning embers which looked like fireflies scooting across the sky towards the apartments buildings south of our complex. Of course, like lemons, when life throws you a curve - throw a fire party. 
The hotel was only about 2/3 of the way towards completion and no one got hurt. This fire took place in August and still they have not started rebuilding. Never heard if it was arson; careless homeless people; or anything else.
